Custom mei Tai
If you have a favourite fabric, why not choose a custom Daisy Chain Mei Tai?
You will need to send in at least 1/2 yard of fabric for the body, and 1/2 yard for the sleeping hood.
(If you want a mei tai which is larger than our standard size, please ensure that they yard of fabric is all in one piece.)
For a small charge, Daisy Chain Slings will pre-wash your fabric. Otherwise, please ensure that all fabric is pre-washed.
Strap fabrics
We have a wide variety of different strap fabrics available, ranging from sturdy half-panama cotton and sanded twill to soft, snuggly needlecord.

When you order your custom carrier, just tell us which strap fabric you prefer.
The standard shoulder strap length is 84", but if you prefer yours shorter or longer, just let us know!
We now have lots of other customisable options!
Standard size 16.5" wide and 21" tall
Young toddler 16.5" wide and 22.5" tall
Older toddler/Pre-schooler 17" wide and 24" tall

Our standard 5" straps have proved very popular, and now slimline straps (well....just over 4" wide!) are now available too.
This simply does just what it says, and pads the edges of the Mei tai where your little one's legs are placed.
Leg padding costs an extra £6.
Daisy Chain Slings now offers simple applique on your MT hood (such as a star, flower, circle or one of the repeat patterns from your fabric)
We do recommend that our appliqued carriers are handwashed, rather than machine washed.

If you prefer to leave your waistband unpadded, we now offer this option instead of our standard padded waist.
If you want a little luxury, Daisy Chain Slings will match silk dupion with your print fabric.
