Wrap Tai conversion
This wrap conversion is very similar to our fabric Mei tai, although the straps are slightly shorter.
Shoulders strap options:
- Standard 5" lightly padded straps.
- Slimline 4" wide straps, which now have slightly thicker padding.
- We now also offer wrap straps on our wrap tais :o)
These are straps made of a single layer of wrap, which is 12" wide. They spread your baby's weight beautifully across your back and shoulders, but don't provide quite as much support for carrying heavy toddlers!
All our shoulders straps are generally 78" long. If you would like them to be longer, please contact us to discuss it.
Waist Strap Options:
TheDaisy Chain Wrap Tai has one long strap along the bottom, which includes approximately 23" of sturdy fleece padding along the waist. In total, it measures about 75".
If you choose to send us a 4.6m wrap, this waist strap will be made up of three sections pieced together. If the wrap is 5.2m long, then I can manage to make it all in one piece. Both methods are equally strong ;o)
The Wrap Tai Body:
The wrap conversion body is made of two layers of canvas and a layer of light padding, sandwiched together with the wrap fabric. this makes for a carrier which is much softer and floppier than our other mei tais, but is still just as sturdy and strong.
This conversion is available in the Standard size, or Young Toddler size.
Should you want the Older Toddler size, please contact me prior to ordering so that we can discuss your requirements ;o)

A basic wrap-tai conversion costs £55
The customer must provide the wrap ;o)
Optional extras:

Co-ordinating fabric on the body (provided by the customer) £5 per side

Which wraps are suitable?
Hopps, Lanas and Didymos stripes (including Jim!) are all excellent choices. Girasols, BB Slen and Storchenweige are also suitable, although they may be slightly less supportive.
Please ensure that your wrap has been pre-washed and ironed before you post it to me. For an extra £5, I am happy to pre-wash it for you :o)
What size should my wrap be?
A 4.6m wrap is sufficient if you are happy to have a pieced waist strap ie the long strap will be made up of three pieces sewn firmly together.
If you want the waist strap to be all in one piece, then I will nedd a 5.2m long wrap.
Your wrap must be at least 65 cm wide.
